Why is science being challenged in courts? Why do they allow myths to be taught as facts? Most of history they teach is a lie anyway, so I guess this will just be more lies.
So tired of knowledge and facts being placed in the backseat. These religious fundamentalist are allowed to shove this crap on the people, pushing their beliefs on others. Cause God forbid that some of us want to believe differently.
I am so tired of people taking the word of cavemen as literal fact. They knew less about the world than we know now and you trust their words? They shit in their dens for God's sake and you take the word of that man? If I shit in my den and was spouting the crap they did in that book (the bible), you say I was fuckin' crazy, but b/c it was written 2000 years ago we need to seriously consider it? Get a fuckin' clue already............
Two Baton Rouge lawyers disagreed Monday on whether Louisiana’s new law to revamp the way evolution is taught in public schools will be struck down in the courts.
Michael Wolf, a Baton Rouge lawyer, predicted the measure will be declared unconstitutional.
“It is an attempt to prove things by scriptural authority rather than scientific evidence,” Wolf said.
But Darrell White, co-founder of a group that helped push the law through the Legislature, said he could not even predict whether the new rules will face a legal challenge.
“Can I say without doubt that this or any other piece of legislation will not be challenged? Who knows?” White asked.
